Uploading to the Instagram
We created the Instagram very quickly as its straight-forward and simple, I started by following people we know around Leicester and who would be interested in the content. This meant that we could get likes and comments and bring some traffic to the page as a start. Charlotte found and followed some Instagram accounts also based in Leicester to connect and share; such as De Montfort University, Leicester based News and different Leicester businesses.
I created a Logo for the page that was easy to read and bold so it was easily recognised. We then began uploading our images. Using the recently added multiple upload feature on Instagram we could upload to images at once so it was easy to connect the new and the old image. We made sure to keep a consistent caption that people could become familiar with including emojis and hashtags to make the posts stand out and fit the conventions of a Instagram post.
